One of the most enduring feminine practices involves connection and collaboration. A primary instinct for girls and women is to join hands with others because it makes whatever we’re doing easier, or less scary, or more fun.

Some people such as the women in the Gather The Women movement believe that the time has come to activate women’s wisdom on a planetary scale.

And that there is a need to honor the wisdom of the grandmothers of indigenous cultures which all say something similar as the Hopi Elders:

…the time of the long wolf is over. Gather yourselves.
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary.
All that you do now must be done in a sacred manner
and in Celebration.
We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”
